DURBAN

Description:

Durban is the third city on the population of the republic of South Africa. The city shares on two parts: old Durban with ancient buildings, Indian quarter, shopping centers and restaurants, and new Durban located along ocean, from quay on which there is a majority of hotels of a city. It is necessary to visit St. Pavel%27s Church, beautiful park on ruins of an old fort, mayoralty "City-hall" building, old station (now in it the tourist office is located), a temple of Shri-Ambalavaanar-Alajjam (the first and the largest temple in Africa). Also in Durban museums are located: the National museum of natural history, the Museum of natural sciences, the Museum of old buildings, the Center of the African art, park of reptiles of Fittssimmons, a delphinarium and a botanical garden of Durban. In a valley «Thousand hills» there is a snake reserve and a crocodile farm, and at coast - water center «sea World».
