Description:

Krabi is a small town on the west coast of southern Thailand with a population of about 18,000 residents. In Krabi there are almost no traditional beaches, and many tourists stop here on their way to neighboring resorts. But it%27s definitely worth to stay in Krabi for several days. Wonderful karst cliffs of Khao Kanab Nam, the famous Tiger Temple, as well as Contemporary arts museum are of great interest to visitors. Climate

Situated as well as nearby Phuket on the shores of the Andaman Sea, Krabi has a similar tropical climate. The temperature never drops below +24 ° C. From May to November rainy season is observed here.

Transport

The town has its own International airport, located 10 km. from Krabi and serving flights to Bangkok, Koh Samui, Phuket as well as Kuala Lumpur and Singapore. Also the town is easily accessible by buses that connect it with the neighboring beaches and Bangkok. The main transportation in Krabi is a taxi and the so-called songteo trucks, converted into buses.
