Luang Prabang is a big city in Laos, standing on the river Mekong with the population about 50 000 people Laos is one of the world centers of the Buddhism, and consequently the majority of sights of region – Buddhist temples. One of the beautiful temples is a temple of Vat Sieng Thong. It is the sample of classical temple architecture of Luangphabanga at which slightly bent slopes of a roof go down almost to the earth. On a back wall it is possible to see colourful mosaic images of various birds and animals. Also it is interesting to visit the Royal palace and a temple of Ho Kham where traditions of Laotian architecture are combined with architecture of France. Also sights are temples of Vat Aham, Vat Maj Suvannaphumaham and others. Besides, in 32 km from a city the falls of Tat Kuang Si entering about structure of the national park with the same name are located. The basic cascade of falls reaches heights of 54 km.
Climate
The temperature within almost all year keeps at level of +33 degrees of Celsius with a cold snap to +27 degrees in December and January. The period of rains is necessary for March – September.Transport
