A small town situated in the northern part of the GOA state. Сalangute is kilometers of wonderful sandy beaches, in the recent past it was a quiet village, now it’s a Mecca of a national and international tourism. Annual beach activity falls here only during the monsoon season, when due to heavy rainfall the sea gets too rough, dirty and dangerous. That’s why the best time for travelling to Сalangute is winter, December and January in particular, as well as summer months with Mai as the most popular. Yet many people come here not only because of the sea: numerous bars, nightclubs and restaurants, intensive nightlife, a great deal of activities and entertainment of any kind make Сalangute an attractive destination for all seasons.

One can get to Сalangute by plane – Dabolim Airport is the only airport in Goa and it hosts domestic flights, during the tourist season there’s an international connection to Qatar, Dubai, Kuwait, Britain, Germany, Netherlands and Russia. One can get around the city by bus or taxis.
