GURGAON
Description:
It is the biggest city of the same name district situated in the north of the country, a satellite-city of the Indian capital. Gurgaon is a modern comfortable city, an industrial and financial centre, the headquaters of many companies, mainly with IT specialization. It can hardly be of interest to tourists attracted by a historic and cultural heritage as this is Gurgaon%27s shopping-malls and entertainment centres that it can boast of. The city is used as Delhi%27s sleeping quarters and is its tacit suburb.
Climate
Gurgaon has a humid subtropical climate. It%27s better not to plan one%27s trip for March-June period as this is the time of great heat, desert winds called loo and monsoons, which though bring some relief from the heat yet lead to a high humidity increase.Transport
One can get to Gurgaon from the International Indira Gandhi Airport located in 10 km from the city, from the Dhaula Kuan Railway Station situated in the south-west of Delhi (28 km), by bus, taxi or metro.
