The capital of the southern Indian state, one of the youngest Indian cities, a multiconfessional metropolis, where the Muslims and Hindu live in peace. Founded in the 17th centure by Mogols, it still keeps the heritage of their empire: magnificent palaces, numerous tombs, mosques and fortresses – no one stays unaffected. There are shopping boulevards and local markets, where one can buy national clothes, perfumes, bright textiles and, of course, jewelry made of precious, semiprecious stones and pearls. It was not for nothing that the city was called a Pearl city, diamond mines were found in its surroundings and it once was a world jewelry supplier. Hyderabad today is a modern city with a high living standard, a major trading and industrial centre. It nonetheless preserved the charm of the national culture and is one of the favourite world tourist destination.

It’s better to leave out July, August and September if you want to escape the rain season. March, April and May are the hottest months, the daytime temperature may reach 40°С, that’s why the ideal time for travelling is the period from October to February.
