Description:

Sanur is a resort town on the south extremity of Bali island, Indonesia. Being quite an expensive resort, Sanur is inferior to Kuta and therefore more accessible but still luxurious. There are plenty of hotels and restaurants, beach cafes and other houses but Sanur keeps atmosphere of tranquility. The main tourist group is families from Europe. In July Sanur holds international kite festival, it is really worth seeing! Pura Blanjong temple is the oldest landmark of the town. Be sure to visit Turtle Island that is the nature reserve and educational center in the same time. Sanur offers perfect kite, surf and dive courses. Underwater life is particularly beautiful here.

Climate

Climate is tropical monsoon. Rain season lasts from October to June and brings serious precipitations. Dry season is from July to September.

Transport

The nearest airport is Ngurah Rai International Airport. Port Benoa Harbor offers cruises to the nearby islands. You can get around Bali by taxi, bus or bemo – local micro bus.
