Beirut is the capital of Lebanon, and also a large seaport. In Beirut are located offices of many international organizations, and also it is the major financial and bank center of the Near East. The most ancient building of a city is the mosque of Omari, and to it осонвания on the same place the ancient Roman temple of Jupiter has been located. In the center of Old Beirut the Star area (Sahat al-Nezhma) is located. About two thousand years ago on an area place the Roman Forum settled down. One of the most beautiful mosques of Beirut is Mohammed Al-Amina%27s mosque where the tomb of Rafika Hariri also is located.
