ANKARA

Description:

Ankara is the second largest city of Turkey. It`s basic sights it inherited from Persians, Celts and Romans who replaced each other in turn as sovereign. Becoming in the first quarter of the last century capital of the country, the small Turkish city has quickly expanded to scales corresponding to the status, but has kept it`s oriental charm. Even the heat won%27t prevent to enjoy the beauty of east capital: it is possible to hide in a cool of the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations or in numerous parks.

Climate

Ankara has a continental climate, with cold, snowy winters and hot, dry summers. Rainfall occurs mostly during the spring and autumn.
