GOREME

Description:

Göreme is a small picturesque village on the territory of natural reserve, open-air museum, added to the UNESCO World Heritage List. It is located near the ancient city of Nevşehir which is famous for the well remained shape. This place as if has stiffened in centuries: people still live in caves, and new buildings stand together with buildings of XVIII-th century with characteristic flat roofs. The national park which area includes 6 churches and set of the monastic constructions most part of which are made in a rock, approaches for contemplation and quiet rest among beauty of the nature and human`s creations.

Nevşehir has a continental climate, with cold and snowy winters and hot and dry summers.
