Description:
Brno is the second largest city in Czech Republic. Thanks to it location Brno can be a perfect main base fro exploring local nature beauty of Moravia region. Brno is a great culture and historic center with plenty of theatres and museums, it holds various festivals (the majority of them is from June to September). So called “cultural summer” includes numerous performances from Shakespeare to folk celebrations, all these happen on the city scenes. Historic center is quite small and embraces almost all attractions of Brno. It consists of pedestrian streets and surrounded by the circle of boulevards that makes this area ideal for slow strolls around Renaissance and baroque houses. Climate is temperate continental with mild winter and warm summer. Average day temperature of the hottest months July and August is 20C, of the coldest January – 2C. Most precipitation occurs im summer, winter is dry.Transport
Brno is a big transportation hub, it has International airport Brno- Tuřany, bus terminal and railway station. Airport provide regilar flights to many cities of Europe including London,Moscow, Milan and also domesic flights to Prague and some other cities. Bus #76 run from the airport to the city. From railway station trains go to Prague (3,5 hours) and to towns of Moravia. By bus you also can reach Vienna, Dresden and Aachen.
