BAD GRIESBACH

Description:

Bad Griesbach is a German commune in the Baden-Württemberg land situated on the height of 400 m in the Black Forest (Schwarzwald). The commune is first of all known for its termal springs, thousands of tourists come here every year to relax and improve their health. Architectural value has the following structures: the stadium Sportplatz (Ortsteil Bad Peterstal), recreational center Schlüsselbadklinik, the place where the first constitution was sighned (Pavillon Bad Griesbach), the church Katholische Pfarrkirche St. Peter und Paul, the tower Habererturm and the chapel Kapelle St. Anna. Among the nature attractions the most interesting are the resort parks (Kurpark Bad Peterstal and Kurpark Bad Griesbach) and the lake Glaswaldsee (it appeared as a result of glacier melting, the depth is 11m).
