BAIERSBRONN

Description:

Baiersbronn is a German commune, the second largest one in the Baden-Württemberg land. While staying in Baiersbronn be sure to visit the Hauffs Märchenmuseum devoted to Wilhelm Hauff, who is the author of the fairytale “The cold heart” telling about the life of glassblowers, coalminers, carvers and ferrymen. From 1998 the musical festival Schwarzwald Musikfestival was held every year. Your attention deserve the church Münsterkirche under the monastery Kloster Reichenbach and the historical monument Alexandrine trench (Alexanderschanze). Among the nature attractions the most famous is the legendary lake Huzenbacher See. It is about 7-8 meters in deep and is covered with moss and flowers that makes the illusion of the dry land.
