Description:

Berchtesgaden is a German commune in the Bavaria land. From 1928 Berchtesgaden was home to a residence of Hitler Berghof. In the anniversary of Fuerer death in 1952 the residence was blowed up. While staying in Berchtesgaden be sure to visit one of the local theatres (Berchtesgadener Bauerntheater or Marktbühne Berchtesgaden). Among museums the most interesting are the Historic Museum (Heimatmuseum), Roe Museum (Rehmuseum) and various exhibitions in the park Nationalparkhaus (for example, one devoted to cattle breeding in Alps). And of course you will get the chance to enjoy the views of coloured facades of Lüftlmalerei houses, that are so famous out of the city. Architectural attractions are the town hall Rathaus, house on the top of the hil Kehlsteinhaus, church Christuskirche and church церковь Stiftskirche St. Peter und Johannes der Täufer.
