Heidelberg is situated on a joint of three federative lands - Giessen, Baden-Wurtemberg and Rhineland-Palatinate, in one of the warmest areas of Germany. For this reason the nature of Heidelberg is unusual to the Central Europe - pistachio and almond trees grow here, and also some kinds of parrots are found. The city is economically safe – there is the lowest level of unemployment in all Germany (only 4 %). The Heidelberg University, the oldest university of Germany, gives many workplaces. Because Heidelberg is a student%27s city, there is no lack of cultural and entertaining actions. There is a variety of theatres, concert halls and night clubs in the city.

The city is situated in one of the warmest regions of Germany; in the summer air temperature often rises to 30 Celsius degrees. About 800 mm of precipitations drops out during a year .Transport
