Description:
Fussen is a town in Bavaria, an administrative district of Swabia. This city is a famous resort. There are two famous castles in this city - Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau. Fussen is the last point on the popular tourist route - the Romantic Road. The sights of the city include the Abbey of St. Magnus, the Prince Elector Castle, the Fussen Castle. There are the royal castle (Schwangau) and the nature reserve Ammer Mountain in the vicinity of this town. In the village there is a funicular to the mountain Tegelberg. There are also located mud and mineral water springs. This city is famous for its pure mountain air - Fussen is recognized as one of the best resorts in Europe. The city is located on the 800-1200 m above sea-level. Fussen is surrounded by lakes.
