GOSLAR
Description:
Goslar is a small city in the Lower Saxony, a federal land of Germany. It is the centre of the area with the same name. The city and all close vicinities are imbued with the atmosphere of the middle Ages, with the events which have influenced the development of all western civilizations. There are no industrial enterprises near Goslar now, and it gives to this ancient city a kind of special charm – no one is in a hurry, it all like it was many centuries ago. The population of a city is just about 150 thousand persons. The most known legend about the city foundation is connected with opening of silver mine. The hungry king has sent the knight on hunting. The knight has not managed to find something edible – but he has noticed that horse hoofs knock out sparks and has brought to the king three silver stones.
