Description:
Luebeck, a seaport in the north of Germany, is situated in Schleswig-Holstein and is known as the major city of the Hanseatic League. The historic landmarks which are located in the centre of Luebeck are of huge value and even enter into the UNESCO World Heritage list. It is no wonder: Luebeck is a city with the big history; it was founded in XII century on a place of one of Slavic trading settlements. There are many fine cathedrals and churches in Luebeck, and the city town hall is the oldest operating town hall of Germany.
