KAVOS

Description:

Cavos, a former small fishing village on the Corfu Island, today turned into a vibrant tourist resort town, particularly popular among young British people. Coast line with stunning beaches is parallel to the street with numerous restaurants, bars and night clubs. There is a big aqua park near Cavos, also you can go explore nearest beaches by boat. It is very easy to escape from Cavos vanity, suffice it to drive off a couple of kilometers and you will appear on the empty beach, in the traditional village, in the walls of old monastery or near picturesque cliffs. Corfu Island is very interesting, don’t miss the opportunity to explore it.

Climate

Climate is Mediterranean, very comfortable. Winter is mild, nearly without rain. Summer is dry and moderately hot. Tourist season lasts from May to October. The sun shines almost the whole year.

Transport

There is a regular bus runs to Corfu City and airport (50 km). You can rent a motorbike and explore any part of the island by yourself.
