PLATIS YIALOS

Description:

Platys Gialos is a popular resort town on the Mykonos Island that offers numerous hotels, restaurants, splendid beaches, ancient ruins and endless amount of cruises: you can go to explore southern beaches on a fishing boat, watch sea life through the glass bottom, enjoy the sunset from water, or go to Delos or Renia. Island capital – the city Mykonos with all its numerous attractions – is only few km away.

Climate

Climate is arid Mediterranean. Summer is moderately hot, sea water is comfortably warm. Winter is mild, in January average temperature is 15C. Tourist season starts in May and lasts to October.

Transport

The biggest island city – Mykonos – is 15 minutes drive away from Platys Gialos. International airport is also very close.
