Bari is a big city and the capital of Apulia region, Italy. It is famous university and culture center, second most important economic city of southern Italy. In Bari lie the relics of Saint Nicolas the Miracle-Worker and therefore city with its basilica became center of orthodox pilgrimage. Bari historic center (Barivecchio) is situated near seafront and famous for San Nicola di Bari Basilica in Roman style and castle Castello Normanno Svevo. Bari has many gardens, beaches and parks. The biggest park Parco Secondo guigno strikes with its size. People in Bari speaks special Italian dialect that is closer to Sicilian and Neapolitan dialects.
