Description:

Capri is a resort situated on the same name island in Naples Bay in Campania region. Not far from the island high cliffs rises above from water, inside you can see pictures on the walls. Capri coastline is intended with numerous ports and bays, the most famous one is no doubt Grotta Azurra, or Blue grotto, where light refraction makes beautiful effect. Because of unforgettable nature Capri is celebrated by numerous poets, great people and monarchs came here.

Climate

Capri climate is Mediterranean. Summer is hot and dry, winter is mild and rainy. In summer air is chilled with sea breeze from the bay.

Transport

You can reach Capri Island by ferry from Naples Bay ports. You must remember that tourists are not allowed to use automobiles in summer. The nearest airport is Capodichino in Naples, you can get there by train.
