CESENATICO

Description:

Cesenatico is a town in the province of Forli-Cesena in Emilia-Romagna, a resort located between Ravenna and Rimini. The beach of Cesenatico is particularly long up to 7 km, with the cleanest gold sand. Cesenatico has many parks and this is a peculiarity of the place. The biggest parks are Parco Ponente and Parco Levante while pine forest Zadina is famous for its medicinal air. The main pride of Cesenatico is its city canal, that, according to a legend, was projected by Leonardo da Vinci. Today the canal houses an open museum, in which you can find many medieval ships. In Cesenatico frequently navy parades are held.

Climate

Cesenatico lies in a zone of semi continental climate with hot dry summers and cold rainy winters. In winter and autumn fogs and thunderstorms are frequent here.

Transport

The closes airports are Luigi Ridolfi in Forli (35 km), Federico Fellini next to Rimini (29 km) and Guglielmo Marconi of Bologna(109 km. Cesenatico has its own railway station served by the regional trains. Also Cesenatico is reachable by bus from Rimini and Forli.
