Description:

Gardone Riviera is a town in Brescia province, Lombardia region. It is situated on the West coast of Garda Lake and many of Garda sights are very close. Among them without doubts is the homestead of Gabriele D%27Annunzio (Vittoriale degli Italiani) who is national pride and great poet. This complex reminds mansion, monument and fantasia in the same time. Another attraction is Gardone Riviera, a big botanical garden with tropical plants. Historic center of the town (Gardone Sopra) is full of restaurants, stairs, barrios and beautiful views. Gardone Riviera is probably one of the most beautiful places ob the Garda Lake.

Climate

Gardone Riviera climate is Mediterranean because of the Garda lake and special landscape influence. Summer is hot (no lower than +24C) and winter is cold (about +1C), humidity is heightened during the whole year (especially in winter) which leads to frequent mists.

Transport

Brescia airport is very clode to the town. Buses run along lake west coast, in summer buses run between Gardone Riviera museums. You can reach Garda towns by ferry.
