Description:

Ostuni is a town in the Brindisi province in Apulia, it is often called “white town” because of character colour of the historic center. The reason is that all buildings used to be covered with white grout. Ostuni is famous fro clean and ecological beaches. By the way cultural value of the town is also high: pay attention at the Ostuni Cathedral, Piazza della Libarta square, historic center in general (Borgo antico) is very interesting because of its narrow white-snow curved streets. People here grow olives and almonds, azure sea is unforgettable. Ostuni is one real Apulia gems.

Ostuni has Mediterranean climate with hot and dry summer and mild humid winter. Drought is summer is common.

Transport

30 km from Ostuni there is Aeroporto di Brindisi-Casale, 95 away is Aeroporto di Bari-Palese. Town has its own railway station that provides connection with the capital and the rest Italy. You also can reach Ostuni by car via Bari-Lecce highway also known as “Superstrada Bari-Lecce”.
