Description:

Torbole Sul Garda is a mountain town on the Garda lake shore in the Trentino-Alto Adige region in Italy. This place as any other settlement on the Garda Lake is really picturesque. Because of winds that blow only here (Òra, Pelér-Paesàm, Ponale and Balinòt) Torbole Sul Garda is perfect place for wind surfing. Winds appear thanks to special features of the landscape. Town is surrounded by Austria-Hungarian fortifications and literally full of various churches. Goethe liked to spend time in Torbole Sul Garda, he called this place “land of blooming lemons”. In spite of the northern and mountain location this area has mild climate similar to Mediterranean.

Climate in Torbole Sul Garda is Mediterranean because of the influence of Garda Lake. Summer is hot (no less than +24C) and winter is cool (about +1C). Humidity is heightened during the whole year, this leads to frequent mists.
