Description:

Torri del Benaco is a town in Verona province, Italy. It is situated on the Garda Lake shore which is the biggest in Italy. As any town on Garda Torri del Benaco has beautiful nature and ancient architecture. For example, there are churches of XVIII century. Castle Scaligero of XIV century is interesting for its architectural refinement, inside there is Ethnographical Museum. One of the main attractions of Torri del Benaco is cave Grotta La Tanella famous for stalactites and stalagmites and not entirely explored.

Climate

Climate in Torri del Benaco is continentlal with the influence of Garda Lake. Summer is hot (no lower than +24C) and winter is cold (about +1C). Humidity is heightened during the whole year, this leads to frequent mists.

Transport

The nearest airport is Catullo not far from Verona. The nearest railway stations are Verona Porta Nuova and Pescuera vul Garda. Torri del Benaco is small, it can be easily explored on foot.
