CANAZEI

Description:

Canazei is a town in the Trento province in Trentino Alto Adige region situated on the north of Val di Fassa valley. Canazei is a part of Ladinia, historic region with Ladino language (a mixture of Italian, German and Slovenian). Canazei is a famous resort as it is located in Dolomites. In winter it offers slopes for skiing, in summer – hiking and alpinism. Ladino culture still can be seen in traditions and Canazei architecture. In July festival Te anter i tobiè is held, in August - "Gran Festa da d’Istà". Visit this gem of Dolomites that was included in UNESCO World Heritage list and this won’t leave you indifferent.

Climate

Canazei climate is a mixture between Oceanic and continental. Summer is warm and short, winter is ong and cold.

Transport

The nearest airports are in Bolzano, Venice, Verona and Treviso. The nearest railway stations are Trento, Bolzano and Ora. Buses run between Canazei and Bolzano, Trento, Ora (with a change in Predazzo).
