Aci Castello is a small town in the province of Catania on the Sicily island. Misterious Aci Castello whose origin still remains unknown,in famour primarily for its castle. The castle, of unclear origin too, has been the center of Aci Castello. Today is houses the city museum. Aci Castello is a popular resort as well.

Aci Castello lies in a zone of Mediterranean climate with dry hot summers, however the air is cooled by the African wind sirocco. Winters in Aci Castello are mild and rainy.
