Description:

Limone sul Garda is a town in the Brescia province in Lombardia region, Italy. Word “limone” in the name of the town reminds all tourists the fruit that grows everywhere there, town guides assert that Limone sul Garda is the most northern place where lemons grow. Above this town is famous for winter gardens, excellent olive oil and life span of some residents. Today Limone is one of the modernist and most visited towns on Garda, however it preserved charm and historic center touches with bright old houses, porticos and side streets. It is nice to walk along seafront and town streets, atmosphere of harmony won’t leave you.

Climate

Climate in Limone sul Garda is continental because of the influence of Garda Lake and special landscape. Summer is hot (no lower than +24C) and winter is cold (about +1C). Humidity is heightened during the whole year, this leads to frequent mists.

Transport

The best way to reach Limone sul Garda is to catch a ferry in Desenscano, the only one town on Garda with convenient railway station. Also there is a station in Roveretto that is closer to Limone. The nearest airports are D%27Annunzio Brescia, Catullo Verona/Villafranca, and Linate Milano.
