Description:

Sanremo is a city in Liguria, Italy. It%27s not a big city at all, but famous for cultivation of flowers, while in the last Sunday of January "Sanremo in fiore" is celebrated here - a festival of flowers and bright colors, thanks to which Sanremo is called "City of flowers". Another famous event is the world-known song contest Sanremo. Also the city houses one of four Italian casinos, which is a masterpiece of architecture. Close to Sanremo such resorts as Montecarlo, Nizza and Cannes are located. Sanremo is one of the most beautiful Italian coastal cities, that%27s why, no doubts, it deserves your attention.

Climate

The weather in Sanremo is a typical mediterranean one with comfortable temperatures. The coldest month is January (+8). Winters are rainy and mild, while summers are hot and humid, the air is cooled by the sea breeze.

Transport

The closest airports are located in Nizza (50 km), Albenga (40 km) and Genoa (140 km). Sanremo has its own railway station, that connects the city with other directions in Italy, France and Spain. Also Sanremo possesses a small tourist port.
