Location. The Hampshire Hotel Beethoven is located in the south of Amsterdam, Holland, in the vibrant shopping area Beethovenstraat. Distance to Hampshire Hotel Beethoven is 15 kilometres, approximately 20 minutes' drive.

Getting there. Taxis from the airport will cost approximately 35 EUR. A cheaper but slower option is the Connexxion shuttle bus which runs every half an hour and drops guests directly at the hotel. The journey takes 45 minutes and costs approximately 12 EUR one way and 19 EUR return.

Getting around. Tram line 5 stops directly opposite the hotel and runs close to many of the city's sights.

Driving directions. From Amsterdam Schiphol Airport take the A4/E19.
After 500 metres take the A10 to Ringweg Zuid.
Take exit Buitenveldert/Oud Zuid and follow signs to Oud Zuid.

Getting there. The hotel offers an airport shuttle for a surcharge. A railway station is located under Schiphol Plaza, in the central hall of the terminal. Take the train to Amsterdam Zuid W.T.C., then transfer to tram five in the direction of Central Station. Exit at Hobbemastraat and follow the tram tracks on foot. The Park Hotel is two kilometres away on the right hand side. Shared Schiphol Travel taxis can be found outside the arrivals hall. The cars can seat up to eight people and cost around 19 EUR per person. Private taxis to Park Hotel cost approximately 35 EUR. Public buses frequently run to Amsterdam and other destinations. Buses 197 and 370 go to central Amsterdam and Amsterdam Zuid. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. Amsterdam can be easily explored on foot. However, there are convenient bus, tram and metro services running through the city and outside areas. Cycling is also a popular way to see Amsterdam. There are taxi ranks at the central station. Driving within the canal ring is discouraged.
