Climate

Oceanic climate, strongly influenced by its proximity to the North Sea to the west, with prevailing north-western winds and gales. The summer is warm, but not hot (monthly average temperature - 17 degrees), in the winter temperature seldom falls below zero.

Transport

Amsterdam Airport Schiphol located 20 minutes southwest of Amsterdam. Many people there prefer to cycle, but nevertheless, the public transport system is well developed: underground, trams, S-Bahn, bus network and ferries through the river IJ.
