Description:

The motherland of mountain skiing where the competitions on downhill racing took place for the first time, and the first-ever mountain-skiing school was opened, Sankt Anton is considered one of the most prestigious, most qualitative and most expensive mounting skiing resorts. It is included also into the list "Best of the Alpes". The resort hardly approach beginners, but experienced skiers appreciate the skiing-zone 1300-2811 m, the branched out network of lifts and the unmarked lines, one of the best in Europe.

Climate

The season lasts from December till May, winters are cold, summer is hot.

Transport

Sankt-Anton it is located on the railway connecting Innsbruk and Bludents. The nearest international airports - Innsbruck (100 km), Fridrishafen (150 km, Germany), Zurich (200 km, Switzerland), Munich (250 km, Germany) and Salzburg (300 km).
