Description:

The Olympic region of Seefeld is first of all an absolute paradise for walkers. Whether you wish to hike to the surrounding peaks, hike for a few hours, Nordic walking or simply stroll through its beautiful forests, there is something for the whole family and you will be spoilt for choice. The same footpaths are used for cross-country skiing in the winter. When in Seefeld you simply have to enjoy the outdoor sport activities like golfing, mountain biking, tennis playing and more or less any sport you fancy. It is also a favourite destination in the winter as the downhill ski runs are well suited to advance, intermediate and beginner skiers. The beauty and peaceful sceneries in the Seefeld region are breathtaking. There is a great choice of good hotels and bed and breakfast available.

Climate

In the summer, the daytime temperature is hot with cool nights and the winters are cold with temperatures regularly below freezing in January and February.

Transport

The nearest airports are Innsbruck, 22 km away and Munich in Germany located 120 km away. The Zurich airport is also within reach. Public transports in the area include buses and trains.
