Description:

Dubrovnik is a Croatian city on the Adriatic Sea coast positioned at the terminal end of the Isthmus of Dubrovnik. There helds the annual Dubrovnik Summer Festival, a 45 day-long cultural event with concerts and games. Dubrovnik is divided on two parts: the Old and New town. The Old is presented by medieval constructions, and New - modern low houses. Have a walk in a city, visit the Palace of the Rector, the Franciscan monastery with a drugstore of 14th century, the Dominican monastery, the Cathedral, a Seafaring Museum, the Ethnographic museum, Church of Sacred Blaziusa - the patron of a city.

Climate

The climate along the Dubrovnik Region is a typical Mediterranean one, with mild, rainy winters and hot and dry summers.In July and August daytime maximum temperatures reach 29 °C, in winter 10°C.

Transport

Dubrovnik has an international airport of its own. It is located approximately 20 km from Dubrovnik city centre, near Čilipi.
