Description:

Split is a big city in Dolmatsii, Croatia. The ancient part of a city is entered in the list of the world heritage of UNESCO. The greatest interest for tourists represents the palace of Diokletiana dated 305 AD. It will be interesting to visit the Cathedral of St. Domnija, an octagonal cathedral with a high belltower from which you can see all the city; a Peristyle representing internal palace construction of Roman times; the Lobby, the round hall topped with a dome. There are in Split The Temple of Jupiter, a Fortress of Gripe, an ancient Town. It is possible to visit the Roman ruins (The amphitheatre, ruins of temples and palaces )which are in the city suburb.
