Description:

Nantes is a city on the North-west of France, 50 km from the Atlantic Ocean. Being a historic center of the Brittany region it is often called "Venice of the West" because of the fact that Nantes stays on three rivers, the Loire, Erdre and Sevres, and dotted with numerous streams, although most of them were filled in at the start of 20 th century. During the Second World War, most of the old buildings were demolished and restorers completely rebuilt castle of the Dukes of Brittany and the Cathedral of St. Pierre.
