One of the most ancient cities of Poland, university city, city of fairs, city with the historical traditions, that is proud of remarkable historical monuments. Here on island Ostrow Tumski is located the most ancient temple of Poland. The most part of sights could be found out in an old town, especially there are a lot of them on the Old Market square. This is a Town Hall (that is also a museum of Poznan), and the Jesuit complex with the parish church, one of the most beautiful buildings in Baroque style in Poland, and a museum of musical instruments. Combining history and the present, Poznan is one of the most industrial cities of Poland, in many respects because of annual international and local fairs and exhibitions on which come thousand businessmen all over the world.
