Description:

Bled - a city in Slovenia, located on border with Italy and Austria on the bank of Bledsky lake, in the Julijsky Alpes to the east from national park of Slovenia Triglav. Therefore the city is popular enough among tourists. In park territory the mountain top of Triglav which is a symbol of Slovenia, and also a plateau of Mezhakla is located. Not less picturesquely Bledsky lake on which middle there is a small island (Blejski otok) with the known Mariinsky church located on it and medieval excavation. It is possible to reach island by traditional wooden boats. At top of high rock on the bank of lake there is the Bledsky lock, the first mentions about which е are dated 1004. The most ancient part of the lock – высоках a tower in Romance style. Besides in small town there are all possibilities for productive leisure: a golf, horse and bicycle walks, mountaineering. Mountain-skiing lines in the winter operate.
