SAINT MORITZ
Description:
St. Moritz is a resort town in the Engadin valley in Graubünden canton, Switzerland. Few kilometers from St. Moritz there is Piz Bernina – the highest mountain in Eastern Alps. St. Moritz was found in 1100 but resort life started only in 1864, in 1928 and 1948 the town held Winter Olympic Games. Thanks to it location St. Moritz experiences more than 300 sunny days a year. In summer tourist here hike, walk and cycle. During winter months world known horse races “White Turf” are held and slopes wait for sportsmen and amateurs. While staying in St. Moritz visit Segantini Museum and Piz Corvatsch with ice cave.

Because of high-altitude location St Moritz has quite cold weather. In winter temperature fall to -18C, in summer it is about 19C. Sun is shining and views are stunning.Transport
Railroads Glacier Express and Bernina Express passes through St Moritz and link it with other Switzerland cities and Italy. St Moritz itself is small, you can get around on foot.
