The inn is located in Meilen, only a 15-minute drive from Zurich and halfway to Rapperswil.Thanks to the direct train connections to the airport and the main train station of Zurich, the hotel is easily accessible for business guests and tourists alike.A regular car-ferry service to the other lakeshore offers convenient access to the A3 motorway leading to the Alpine holiday resorts of Grisons and to the Ticino.

Th restaurant Bacino with its lakeside terrace is a Mediterranean oasis on Lake Zurich priding itself on 13 Gault Millau points.Opening hours:Daily from 11:30 until 14:00 and from 18:00 until 24:00 (á la carte dishes until 21:45).January until mid-March: closed on Mondays (whole day) and Saturdays (lunchtime).The tavern with its idyllic front garden directly on the lake serves Italian specialties and fine wines. There is a small, cosy bar next door.

The "City of Roses" Rapperswil with its pet zoo and the Alpamare in Pfäffikon are reachable within 15 minutes by car.A charming train or boat ride can bring you to the Benedictine abbey in Einsiedeln.

Travel information

The suburban railway (S-Bahn) line 7 Zürich – Meilen – Rapperswil, runs every half hour at XX:12 and XX:42 from Zurich and at XX:10 and XX:40 from Rapperswil. Local buses 925 and 940 offer direct connections to the Boldernstrasse or Widenbad stops. From there it is another 7 minutes on foot.
