DYNBYCH Y PYSGOD

Description:

Tenby, “little town of the fish”, that is situated on the sea coast and surrounded by 13th century walls, attracts lots of travelers. There you will find everything for calm family holidays: beautiful views, sandy beaches, restaurants and shops, cozy houses along the cliffs… It’s amazing but the steam of tourists hasn’t spoilt the charm of a quiet provincial town and Tenby is still the same as many years ago. While staying here by all means visit Art museum, St Mary Church of 15th century and merchant house. A stroll along coast pass will turn into unforgettable memory. From Tenby you can go to St Davis with grandiose cathedral, to Pembroke (birthplace of Henry VII), and to Caldy Island where Cistercian monastery is situated.

Climate

Climate is maritime, Summer is cool (temperature usually doesn’t rise over 20C), winter is mild (temperature doesn’t fall under 0C), cold winds are frequent. But on the other hand Tenby is one of the sunniest places in Wales. Precipitations are temperate, the driest season is from April to July.

Transport

If you take a change of a train you can reach any part of the country. Direct trains run to London during summer time and buses are available during the whole year. Tenby irself can be easily explored on foot.
