Description:
Ipswich is a city in Suffolk on the Orwell River with the population of about 130 thousand people. Undeserved reputation of a gloomy industrial place that is inherent for Ipswich, gradually vanishes thanks to development and appearance of Suffolk University. Numerous restaurants and bars, hotels and shops open along the waterline. Now lovely Saxon half-timbered houses and Victorian mansions are combined with glass and concrete structures. In Ipswich you can see the youngest house that was made into a Grade I listed buildings (and many other outstanding examples of architecture), try oriental cuisine on the old market, walk along docks or around one of the beautiful parks. Ipswich neighborhoods known as “Constable Country” are really picturesque and nearby villages are worth visiting.

Climate is temperate maritime. Light rains are frequent and sunshine is poor. Summer is cool (only 20 days rich 25C temperature) and winter is mild (in January daytime temperatures under 0C are uncommon).Transport
There are several buses run from Ipswich to London and Norwich airports as well as to the nearest cities in the area. You can take train to London (1 hour 10 minutes), Norwich (40 minutes), Cambridge (1 hour 20 minutes), Peterborough, Lowestoft and Felixtowe.
