MAIDSTONE
Description:
Maidstone is a city in Kent with the population of about 75 thousand people. On its territory archeologists find evidences of settlements dating back to Stone Age. During later times Maidstone was famous for toffee production. Today while staying in the city visit art museum & gallery, museum of carriages, All Saints Church and the nearby Archbishop’s Palace that is close for visitors but very beautiful outside. Also take a walk to Leeds Castle ruins that considered to be on of the most picturesque in the country.

Climate is temperate maritime as everywhere in Great Britain. Summer is cool (July temperature is 15-20C) and winter is mild (in January temperature usually doesn’t fall under 0C). The driest and the sunniest season is from April to September.Transport
