Newbury is a city in England in Berkshire on the Kennet River with the population of about 45 thousand people. Newbury is adjoined by Thatcham. Except numerous old structures that preserved in the city you can enjoy Donnongton Castle ruins with impressive gates, Highclere Castle with interesting collection on Egypt archeology (castle is open for visitors but it is actually home for Lord family) and also a small chapel with wall paintings (explore it during the daytime as there is no electric light).
