Description:

Preston is a city in Lancashire with the population of about 125 thousand people that formerly was port and industrial center. There are plenty of attractions in Preston: Cathedral, museums to fit any taste, Central Lancashire University, old steam locomotives and more. Life on Preston streets doesn’t stop even at nighttime. Climate

Climate is temperate maritime with slight temperature fluctuations during the day and seasons of the year. Only a few days in July has temperature near 25C and in the coldest night in winter temperature will not fall under -10C. Precipitations are comparatively light.

Transport

Preston is served by Blackpool Airport (flights to Dublin, Isle of Man, France and Spain), also Manchester and Liverpool airports are not very far.
