Description:
Scarborough is a town on the North Sea coast of North Yorkshire, England. Scarborough is the largest holiday resort on the Yorkshire coast. It is home to residential communities, business, fishing and service industries, plus a growing digital and creative economy. Scarborough won the 2008/2009 award for the most creative and inspiring entrepreneurship initiative in Europe,and was also named as the most enterprising town in Britain in 2008.
Climate
The climate is temperate with warm summers and cool, wet winters. The hottest months of the year, and the best time for hitting the beach, are from June to September, with temperatures reaching an average high of 19°C (66°F) and 11°C (52°F) at night.
