Description:
Southport is a city in North-West England on the shore of Irish Sea with the population of about 90 thousand people. Southport became a popular travelers destination many years ago (the first hotel appeared here in 1792) and still remains one of the favorite resorts in Great Britain. Not only sandy beaches and picturesque dunes attract tourists. Elegant Lord Street is a real delicacy for architectural gourmets as it is full of old mansions, one of which was once home for Napoleon III. During the whole year Southport held interesting events like air show, fairground and flower festival.
