Southport is a city in North-West England on the shore of Irish Sea with the population of about 90 thousand people. Southport became a popular travelers destination many years ago (the first hotel appeared here in 1792) and still remains one of the favorite resorts in Great Britain. Not only sandy beaches and picturesque dunes attract tourists. Elegant Lord Street is a real delicacy for architectural gourmets as it is full of old mansions, one of which was once home for Napoleon III. During the whole year Southport held interesting events like air show, fairground and flower festival.

Climate is maritime. Summer is cool and winter is very mild. Average July temperature is less than 25C, in January it doesn’t fall under 0C. Southport experiences relatively big number of sunny days.

Liverpool and Preston are only 30 km away. Bus and railway communications connect Southport with almost all cities in the country. There are direct routes to Liverpool, Preston, Manchester (and to the airport), Bolton and more.
