PAIGNTON
Description:
Paignton is a resort town in Devonshire with the population of about 50 thousand people that is known as “English Riviera”. Paignton appeared as a Celtic fishing village and the first record of the town dates to XI century. Famous Agatha Christie loved to come to the Old Picture Theatre that was constructed in 1907, also it was the location for some episodes of the film “The French Lieutenant’s Woman”. Romantic reed-covered beaches of Paignton are prefect for long walks. The water is too cold for swimming but conditions are perfect for water sports practice.
